I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in 2016 and was awarded a Merit for the Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, as well as Commended for my clinical work.  My three years training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and Acupuncture theory, with a focus on the Five Element approach. This means that I will consider your main health problem, together with a holistic approach to you as an individual.

I treat people with a wide variety of physical, mental and emotional issues.

My previous experience of working in Occupational Therapy for 35 years, provided opportunities to work in Health and Social Care in both the public and private sector and with people of all ages.

Motivation to providing effective treatment that enhances quality of life has always been a driving force in my professional practice. I am committed to ongoing training through continued professional development and reflective practice.

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council I adhere to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. British Acupuncture Council members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority which is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers, and is accountable to Parliament.

I am licensed by Birmingham City Council to carry out treatments at Birmingham Traditional Acupuncture Centre.

I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
